Day Fourteen: Friday, June 22, 2007
Today was a nice day to relax and enjoy the family. Eric is such a little cutie. He looks a lot like his grandpa from his mother's side, but we could really see Ken in his eyes. Emma has grown up so much since we last saw her! She took right to Victor and Kismet, and was happy to share her toys with them. She is pretty scared of Andy, but who can blame her? He hasn't shaved since yesterday morning!
Grandma Eda came over this morning to visit. It seems she'd followed us here from California! She says she has other kids and grandkids to visit in the area. Likely story. In an attempt to throw her off our trail, we told her that we're going next to Florida (We'll actually be headed back to California! Shhh! hehe). We'll see where she ends up. Whatever Grandma's real motive was to visit, it is always great to see her. Kismet loves to hug her and play with her jewelry.
We didn't do too much that was exciting today. Kala and Victor found their way to the Stop & Shop and back, Victor and Kismet enjoyed playing in Emma and Eric's enormous toy room, and we all had a nice dinner and prepared for a bigger adventure tomorrow, when Ken and Sondra and the kids will be joining us on our trip to Mystic. It should be a fun day!
