A Day of Rest

The Bible says that on the seventh day, God rested. We, being mere mortals, found it necessary to take a break by day six. Luckily for us, God wasn't using it this week, so He was able to let us stay at His vacation property, a.k.a. Schendel Ranch.

We spent this fine day just bumming around the ranch and shooting the breeze with Chris. This has been a thoroughly enjoyable visit, one we hope to repeat before long. We just don't get to see Chris often enough. We do hope, however, that Cate and Christian will be here next time we drop in.

After one more restful night here at the ranch, we'll be on our way again tomorrow!
